Business Challenge
The Operations Service Center Department represents several departments, including the teams responsible for public tenders. Four people in Maintenance and nine people in New Installations coordinate responses to calls for tender.
Sandrine Gominet, Tender Coordinator, Operations Service Center Department, at TK Elevator France describes their tenders processes:
The tender coordinator receives tender announcements, for example calls for tender for the maintenance of elevators and escalators in a defined geographical area. The offer is analyzed and summarized, and if the agency wishes to position itself, the offer and application are built.
Previously, tender coordinators prepared their technical memorandum in traditional proposal , with the classic limitations of these tools. “With traditional publishing tools, it was a real headache: organizing the slides, adapting the fonts and formatting the whole thing took a lot of time!”
- A lack of harmonization in both content and form.
- A lot of time was invested organizing slides, adapting fonts and formatting.
- The result was not uniform from one agency to another.
- Teams spent a lot of time on it for a disappointing result.
“With traditional publishing tools, everything could go wrong very quickly, nothing was stable and we spent a lot of time.” says Gomite.
